LOCATION: 4600 Block of East Amarillo Boulevard
On February 12, 2026, at approximately 3:07 a.m., officers responded to a major single-vehicle crash in the 4600 block of East Amarillo Boulevard.
Preliminary information indicates a vehicle traveling southbound on Fritch Highway failed to stop at the intersection of Amarillo Boulevard and subsequently left the roadway, striking a structure on the property of a local business.
The driver, a 19-year-old female, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Next of kin has been notified.
Speed and alcohol are being investigated as possible contributing factors.
The Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit continues to investigate this crash. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
