New Port Richey, Florida – Weather permitting, the City of New Port Richey Public Works Department will temporarily close Grand Boulevard between Tennessee Avenue & Georgia Avenue on Monday, February 16, 2026, to perform scheduled utility maintenance.
Water services will not be affected during this work.
This closure is expected to begin at 7:30AM and remain in effect through most of the day.
To ensure safety and minimize traffic disruption, a detour will be in place during this time:
- Northbound traffic will be rerouted via Georgia Avenu
- Southbound traffic will be rerouted via Tennessee Avenue
Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. Please follow posted signage and exercise caution in the area.
