Crime Bulletin Covering the Week of February 2-8, 2026
When I mention “the unit block” of a street, this means the incident occurred at an address anywhere between 1 and 99 of the street.
Robberies
There was one attempted robbery during the past week.
On Saturday, 02-07-26, at approximately 1:32 a.m., at the Cow Palace, a victim had her cell phone taken from her hand by an unknown suspect. The suspect threw the cell phone into the crowd. The victim eventually retrieved her cell phone from a person in the crowd.
Residential Burglaries
There were three residential burglaries during the past week.
On Monday, 02-02-26, at approximately 9:45 a.m., on the unit block of Poncetta Drive, a victim had her dog and jewelry stolen by a known suspect who entered the residence through a sliding glass door. The dog and jewelry were later returned; however, the jewelry was damaged. The suspect, a 26-year-old West Covina resident, was arrested and booked into jail for burglary and vandalism.
On Thursday, 02-05-26, at approximately 5:23 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Clarinada Avenue on a report of a residential burglary. Two suspects entered the residence through a bathroom window. The suspects left with garbage bags and a black duffel bag containing miscellaneous property and drove away. An officer later located the vehicle parked on the 6100 block of Mission Street. At approximately 6:29 p.m., the two suspects entered the vehicle and were arrested. One suspect, a 53-year-old Daly City resident, was booked into jail for burglary. The other suspect, a 46-year-old San Francisco resident, was booked into jail for burglary and bringing a controlled substance into a jail.
On Friday, 02-06-26, at approximately 11:00 p.m., on the 800 block of Campus Drive, a victim had her dog stolen by a known suspect who entered her apartment. The suspect later returned the dog. The suspect, a 37-year-old San Francisco resident, was later located, arrested, and booked into jail for burglary.
Commercial Burglaries
There were no commercial burglaries during the past week.
Vehicle Burglaries
There were three vehicle burglaries during the past week.
- Parking garage at the Westlake Shopping Center—two MacBook Air laptops, two iPads, AirPods Pro, a backpack, and keys were taken from a 2011 Honda Civic. The items were taken from the trunk. Occurred on 02-03-26 between 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
- 800 block of Hillside Boulevard—a wallet containing a driver’s license, medical card, debit card, membership card, work permit card, and cash were taken from a 2023 Nissan Rogue. Unknown method of entry. Occurred between 7:30 p.m. on 02-05-26 and 5:50 a.m. on 02-06-26. **Online report.
- Martin Street and Accacia Street—two wigs were taken from a 2018 Honda Elantra. The rear passenger side window was shattered. Occurred between 10:15 p.m. on 02-08-26 and 9:00 a.m. on 02-09-26. This is the same vehicle mentioned below in the Stolen Vehicles section.
Stolen Vehicles
There was one stolen vehicle and one attempted vehicle theft during the past week. No vehicles were recovered.
- Unit block of Poncetta Drive—a theft of a 2010 Mercedes-Benz C350. Occurred between 12:00 p.m. on 02-07-26 and 8:00 a.m. on 02-09-26.
- Martin Street and Accacia Street—an attempted theft of a 2018 Hyundai Elantra. Occurred between 10:15 p.m. on 02-08-26 and 9:00 a.m. on 02-09-26. This is the same vehicle mentioned above in the Vehicle Burglaries section.
Miscellaneous
- There were 149 cases taken.
- There were 12 domestic disturbance cases reported.
- There were 11 cases involving an involuntary psychiatric hold.
- There were 5 malicious mischief/vandalism cases reported.
- There were 2 cases of public intoxication.
- There were 2 hit-and-run collisions reported.
- There were 8 narcotics-related cases taken.

34th Annual Black History Month Celebration

Sandbags are accessible 24/7 at two locations for residents with proof of residency:
- Department of Water & Wastewater Resources (parking lot) - 153 Lake Merced Blvd.
- Department of Public Works (Corporation Yard entrance) - 798 Niantic Ave.
Limit 10. Please take only what is needed as supplies are limited. When filling sandbags, fill them only halfway, so they are not too heavy to lift and will stack properly.
