Adult Male Arrested on Human Trafficking Charges Involving Minor
On February 12, 2026, at approximately 1:45 a.m., a Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officer conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop on a Chevrolet Malibu in the area of Commerce Boulevard and State Farm Drive.

Officers contacted two occupants inside the vehicle: an adult male driver, approximately 32 years old, and a female passenger who initially identified herself as a 19-year-old adult. During the investigation, officers determined the female was in fact a 14-year-old juvenile who had provided a false name and age.

Through further investigation conducted by Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officers and detectives, it was determined the adult male had been trafficking the minor throughout the greater Bay Area prior to arriving in Rohnert Park. It was also determined the victim was a reported missing juvenile.

Following a thorough investigation, the adult male was arrested and booked on the following charges:
  • Penal Code § 236.1 – Human Trafficking of a Minor (Directing a Minor in Prostitution)
  • Penal Code § 266i – Pandering (Arranging for a Minor to Engage in Prostitution)
  • Penal Code § 266j – Procuring a Minor for Prostitution
The juvenile victim was provided resources and support through Sonoma County and Alameda County Child Protective Services and was released into their custody.
