SUBJECT: Shooting into Occupied Dwelling – Arrest Made
LOCATION: 1000 Block of Adams Street, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: February 12, 2026, approximately 8:51 P.M.
The Redwood City Police Department responded to multiple reports of shots fired at approximately 8:51 p.m. on February 12, 2026, in the 1000 block of Adams Street.
Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle parked in the apartment complex driveway with a gunshot hole through the rear window. Officers also observed multiple bullet strikes to the exterior of a nearby apartment building.
Witnesses reported that prior to the gunfire, several masked subjects walked up to a nearby apartment and banged on the door. The door was not opened. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle after firing multiple rounds into the building.
Officers conducted a thorough search of all apartments within the complex and confirmed that no residents were injured. Shell casings were located at the scene.
Shortly after patrol units arrived a “BOL” (Be on the Lookout) was issued to surrounding agencies. Almost immediately upon receiving a vehicle description, personnel began querying Flock Safety ALPR cameras to further identify a suspect vehicle. A deputy with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office observed a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle traveling on 5th Avenue in Redwood City and conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle was occupied by three males and two females. The males were positively identified as suspects in the shooting and a firearm was recovered.
The driver was identified as 19-year-old Redwood City resident Isaac Almanzavillagomez. He was subsequently arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Maguire Correctional Facility for Penal Code 664/187 – attempted murder and Penal Code 182 -Conspiracy to commit a crime. The other two male subjects were 16-year-old minors. They were placed under arrest for similar charges and released to the San Mateo County Youth Correctional Center. Their names will not be released at this time due to their age.
The Redwood City Police Department thanks the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and recognizes the coordinated teamwork that led to the swift detention of the involved subjects.
