Rialto Man Arrested in Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking and Pandering Case; Additional Victims Sought

DATE/TIME: February 10, 2026 / 11:28 A.M.

INCIDENT: PC236.1(C) - Human trafficking under 18 years of age
                   PC261.5(C) - Sex with a minor 3+ years younger
                   PC266 - Entice a minor for prostitution
                   PC266(B)(1) - Pandering
                   PC287(B)(1) - Oral copulation under 18 years of age
                   PC289(C) - Sex with a minor with force

LOCATION: Baseline Ave / McGuire Ave, Fontana

SUSPECT(S): Fabio Torres, 46-years-old, Resident of Rialto

VICTIM(S): Confidential Female Juvenile

SUMMARY: On Thursday, December 18, 2025, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station began investigating a Children & Family Services referral regarding an alleged sexual abuse report.

During the investigation deputies learned the suspect, later identified as Fabio Torres, contacted the female victim via social media platforms. The suspect took the victim to an undisclosed location and engaged in lewd acts with her. Through investigation, deputies discovered the suspect solicited the victim for prostitution and pandering.

Deputies continued their investigation and on February 10, 2026, Fabio Torres was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC236.1(C) - Human trafficking under 18 years of age, PC261.5(C) - Sex with a minor 3+ years younger, PC266 - Entice a minor, PC266(B)(1) - Pandering, PC287(B)(1) - Oral copulation under 18 years of age, and PC289(C) - Sex with a minor with force. 

Deputies believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Torres’ photograph.
