On 02/14/2026 at approximately 11:01 AM, the Petaluma Police Department received a call from a community member stating that a subject, later identified as Gabriel Fabian Gonzalez (a 50-year-old Petaluma resident), was self-pleasuring underneath his clothing in front of the Boulevard Cinema.
Officers arrived on scene and located Gonzalez, who matched the description provided. Officers investigated and placed Gonzalez under arrest for violations of 647(a) PC – Lewd act in public. A records check revealed Gonzalez was on probation; therefore, he was also arrested for 1203.2 PC – Violation of probation. Gonzalez was transported and booked at the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility on the above charges.
