Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Ashley Vargas, 13, of Newark, who has been reported missing.
Ashley was last seen on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at South 9th Street near Central Avenue. She is described as Hispanic, 5 ft. tall, and 115 pounds. She was wearing black pants and a black sweater.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ashley Vargas to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS(1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
