1. Person Shot (1303) 8000 North El Dorado Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 26, was walking in the area when he was involved in an altercation with the suspect. The suspect shot the victim and fled in a vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital to treat his non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Officers located the suspect vehicle. When they tried to stop it, the suspect failed to stop and led the officers on a pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspect's vehicle became disabled. The suspect tried to flee on foot and was taken into custody. ARRESTED: James Lazareta, 37, for attempted murder, evading, and outstanding warrants.
