1. Robbery (1504) 3000 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The victim employee, 69, confronted the suspect about concealing items. The suspect swung an object in the victim’s direction. The suspect fled the area with stolen property from the business. The victim did not sustain any injuries. SUSPECT: Hispanic or White male adult
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2218) 200 Block of East Arcade Street, Civic District
The male victim, 26, the female victim, 26, and a 1-year-old juvenile were inside their residence when the known suspect discharged a firearm and pointed it at the victims. The victims were uninjured. Officers responded and took the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Jonathan Lopez, 31, for assault with a deadly weapon, child endangerment, parole violation, and possession of narcotics for sales charges.
3. Burglary Arrest (0150) 4900 Block of Claremont Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a burglary in progress at an area business and attempted to stop the suspect vehicle as it was leaving. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield and led officers on a short pursuit. The pursuit ended when the suspects stopped their vehicle and surrendered. During a search of the vehicle, officers located stolen merchandise. ARRESTED: Frankie Germany, 69, for burglary and traffic charges, Jeremiah Germany, 20, for burglary charges, and a 17-year-old juvenile for burglary charges.
