INCIDENT: PC 148(A)(1) - Obstructing / Resisting Police Officer
LOCATION: 3rd St., and Crestview Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Randy Hernandez, 32-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, February 14, 2026, at approximately 1:19 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a pedestrian check near 3rd Street and Crestview Drive in the City of Needles.
Upon making contact, the suspect fled on foot, leading deputies on a brief foot pursuit. Deputies apprehended the individual a short time later without further incident.
During the subsequent investigation, deputies identified the suspect as Randy Hernandez who was found to have multiple warrants out for his arrest.
Hernandez was arrested on his outstanding warrants and was additionally charged with PC 148(A)(1)- Obstructing/Resisting a Police Officer. Hernandez was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on a combined bail amount of $400,925.00, awaiting a court hearing.
