INCIDENT: PC 211 – Armed Robbery
LOCATION: 16000 block of Pebble Beach Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Demetrius Powell, 26-year-old, Resident of Covina
SUMMARY: On Monday, February 16, 2026, at approximately 12:07 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to Doris Davies Park in Victorville for a report of an armed robbery.
Through the investigation deputies determined the victim was confronted by a male suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded his property. The suspect forcibly removed a gold chain and pendant from the victim before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.
Deputies identified the suspect as Demetrius Powell. Powell was later located at a residence and arrested without incident. A search warrant was obtained for the residence and associated vehicles.
Demetrius Powell was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto for, PC 211 – Armed Robbery.
