TRAFFIC BUREAU RESIDENT REMINDER
The Hawthorne Police Department Traffic Bureau advises residents that a potential winter weather event is forecast for Sunday, February 22, 2026 into Monday, February 23, 2026.
Residents are respectfully requested to make every effort to remove vehicles from Borough roadways during this time. Keeping vehicles off the streets allows the Department of Public Works to plow curb to curb, improves roadway conditions more quickly, and ensures emergency vehicles can access streets without delay.
Your cooperation significantly reduces the need for repeated snow removal operations and helps maintain safe travel conditions throughout the Borough.
