A Message from the Haledon Office of Emergency Management
On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson, Haledon Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, and Fire Chief Tom Bakker, we want to inform you that the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our area.
The advisory is in effect from 6 AM, Sunday, February 22, 2026, until 6 PM, Monday, February 23, 2026.
Total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches are possible.
Important reminders for Haledon residents:
All snow (including that which falls on sidewalks and vehicles) must be shoveled within 24 hours after the snowfall. Violators may receive a summons.
