Ice Storm Debris Removal

The City of Fairview has contracted with State Bid awarded contractors for debris removal from the ice storm.

• Please place debris curbside in city right of way prior to March 16, 2026. Do not let debris encroach roadways. Keep debris 5 ft. from fire hydrants, utilities, and road signage. Keep debris to a maximum of 3 ft. in height at intersections to maintain a safe visual line of sight.
• If you hire a contractor to clean up storm damage, the city requests that those contractors be responsible for debris disposal and not leave at curbside.
• If you desire to use volunteers to help clean up storm damage, please reach out to Jann Seymour with United Way for details at (615) 440-2386. She will organize your project. If you want to volunteer or have general questions, please call the United Way public number at (615) 298-1108. Volunteer time can be used to offset city costs of debris removal. Volunteers are allowed to place debris at curbside in the city right of way.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to recover. Please continue to keep safety top priority.

**The City will resume chipper service April 1st in accordance with City Ordinance restrictions that include debris pile sizes of 10 ft. x 10 ft. x 3 ft. and a 4-inch diameter branch limit. Please refer to chipper service guide on the City Website https://www.fairview-tn.org/depts-services/public-works/chipper-leaf-removal-services/. **
