Good morning. A significant winter storm is expected to impact the area beginning early Sunday morning and continuing through Monday afternoon.

🕒 Initial Forecast Overview

• After 4:00 AM Sunday: Rain develops
• 6:00–8:00 AM Sunday: Rain changes to a rain/snow mix
• After 4:00 PM Sunday through Monday morning: All snow, heavy at times
• After 1:00 PM Monday: Rain/snow mix returns
• Precipitation ends: Approximately 4:00–5:00 PM Monday

❄️ Snowfall Totals

• Currently forecast around 12 inches for Princeton
• Warmer temperatures: ~4 inches
• Colder temperatures: 16+ inches

🌬️ Wind Conditions

• Sunday: Gusts 20–25 mph in the morning, increasing to 25–28 mph in the afternoon (NE winds)
• Monday: NNE to NNW winds with gusts 30–35 mph

🚗 Parking Restrictions – IMPORTANT

To allow snowplows and emergency vehicles to operate safely and efficiently, vehicles may NOT be parked on roadways during the storm. Vehicles left on streets significantly hinder snow removal operations and create unsafe conditions.

🚶‍♂️ Sidewalk & Path Clearing Requirements

Property owners are reminded to clear sidewalks within 24 hours after snowfall ends:

• Residential: Clear at least 4 feet
• Business / Central Business District: Clear from building to curb
• Handicap ramps: Must be fully cleared
• If ice cannot be removed, treat with sand or similar material
• Do not push or pile snow into the roadway when clearing driveways
