BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SUNDAY TO 6 PM EST MONDAY. COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT SUNDAY NIGHT
Confidence continues to increase in significant snow accumulations Sunday through Monday.
- Blizzard conditions expected, Snowfall rates 2” or greater possible per hour with Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
- Heaviest snow Sunday night.
- Total snow accumulations between 12 and 18 inches
- Precipitation will start as rain Sunday morning, then mixing until it fully changes over to snow in the afternoon.
- Temperatures will be in mid- upper 30s Sunday through Tuesday but fall below freezing overnight.
- Coastal Flood Watch Sunday evening and Sunday night, especially during the Sunday night and Monday high tide. Some roads may become impassible.
