There is a major snow storm expected for our area for Sunday into Monday. Ten or more inches of snow is expected with blizzard conditions possible in some areas. Please restrict travel and remove all vehicles from the roadways to allow for snow plowing.

§347-10Temporary parking prohibition for snowplowing.
 
Whenever snow has fallen and the accumulation is such that it covers the street or highway, an emergency shall exist, and no vehicles shall be parked on the following streets or highways or portions thereof listed below. The parking prohibitions listed in Subsections A, B, C and D below shall remain in effect after the snow has ceased, until the streets have been plowed significantly, and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic.

Gibson Boulevard (Parkway to Raritan Road)
Hickory Street
Jarvais Terrace
Kennedy Drive
Lake Avenue
Lexington Boulevard
Liberty Street

Meadow Road
Mildred Terrace
Nassau Street
Oak Ridge Road
Peter Circle
Raritan Road
Ross Street
Russell Court
Tudor Drive

Additionally: Whenever three inches or more of snow have fallen within any twenty-four-hour period, all parking of vehicles shall be prohibited within 90 feet of any intersection and on both sides of any Township street less than 30 feet in width, unless such street and intersection have been plowed free of the snow by the Township.
