This a snow emergency notification from the Village/Town of Mount Kisco. Due to the snowstorm that is forecast to begin tomorrow, Sunday, February 22, 2026, and continue until Monday, February 23, 2026, I would like to take this opportunity to inform you of a few actions being taken by the Village in response to this storm.
The Village has declared a snow emergency.
1. No parking on any street or roadway from 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2026, through 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, February 23, 2026.
VIOLATORS MAY BE TICKETED OR TOWED
2. No person shall throw or deposit snow upon any plowed portion of any street or roadway. Homeowners are responsible for the actions of private contractors in their employ.
3. FREE Parking is available in all municipal parking lots during the snow emergency.
You will be able to move your vehicle into any of the municipal parking lots any time on Sunday, February 22nd, free of charge. Please also remember to remove your vehicle as soon as possible after 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, February 23rd from the municipal parking lot so that DPW may clear the parking lot.
Monday recycling collection of bottles and cans has been suspended and will be picked up Village wide on Tuesday, February 24th.
Paper and Cardboard recycling will be collected, village-wide, on Wednesday, February 25th.
