A storm system moving across central Indiana will bring with it light snow which is expected to develop before sunrise Sunday. Up to 1 inch of snowfall is expected before the snow diminishes by early Sunday afternoon. Another round of accumulating snow is expected Sunday night associated with a lake effect snow band. An additional 0.5 to 1 inch of snow is expected, with the highest amounts in far northern portions of the area. The snow is expected to diminish and end Monday morning. Roadways will likely become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.
