SNOW EMERGENCY
Residents please be advised that effective 12:00pm on Sunday February 22, 2026 Manville Borough will be under a Local Snow Emergency Declaration per Ordinance 2022-1286. Vehicles will be required to be removed from all Borough Roads by 4:00pm. Ticketing and Towing will begin after that.

Residents are allowed to park in the following Lots in the Borough as well as their lawns.

1. VFW 2290 - 600 Washington Ave - Main Lot
2. Manville Library Lot
3. Manville Municipal Lot - Main Street between Rosalie Street and N. Orchard Street
4. Borough Hall Lower Municipal Lot - South 1st Ave
5. Brooks Blvd Lot between North 3rd Ave and North 4th Ave

Residents are asked to park in accordingly in the lots and leave entrances and exits open
SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF SECTION 11-1 NO PARKING ON STREETS DURING A SNOW EMERGENCY TO ADD A NEW SECTION 11-1-121 TO READ AS FOLLOWS
1 1-1-[2](A) Whenever a snow emergency has been declared by the Governor or the Borough Office of Emergency Management Coordinator, no vehicle shall be parked on any roadway or street in the Borough.:
1 1-1-[2] (B) This street parking prohibition shall remain in effect until the snow has ceased and until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic; or until such time as the Snow Emergency has been lifted.
1  During the period of this street parking prohibition} any Borough ordinance restricting parking on a property to driveways or parking areas shall be temporarily suspended until the streets have been plowed sufficiently and to the extent that street parking will not interfere with the normal flow of traffic; or until such time as the Snow Emergency has been lifted.
