Winter Storm Notice – Borough of Tuckerton

As of right now, Tuckerton is expected to begin seeing snow Sunday afternoon, with snowfall continuing into Monday morning. The snow is forecasted to be heavy and wet, and plowing operations will most likely be necessary.

Please make sure that:

• All vehicles are removed from roadways.

• Debris, such as basketball nets and other items, are cleared from the street.

Vehicles parked on snow-covered roads will receive a ticket.

Due to the heavy nature of this snow, there is a possibility that mailboxes may be damaged during plowing operations. If this occurs, please do not get upset—simply contact the Borough Office after the storm has passed.

Trash & Recycling Collection
Collection will move to the Holiday Schedule:

• Zone 1 – Tuesday

• Zone 2 – Wednesday

• Zone 3 – Thursday

Attention: Tuckerton Beach Residents

Flooding and high winds are expected.

If you need to move vehicles out of flood-prone areas, parking will be permitted at:

• Tuckerton Borough Hall (140 East Main Street)

• Bay Avenue Ballfield (trailers/boats only)

Please do not block the gate at the Bay Avenue Ballfield, as it is used for emergency airlifts if needed.

If you park at Borough Hall, please be aware your vehicle may need to remain there for some time, and you will be responsible for shoveling around it.

Please secure all outdoor items and debris.

If you do not need to be on the road, please stay home and allow our employees to safely clear the roads.
