Good Afternoon Pemberton Township,
In anticipation of a potential snow event this weekend, the Police Department would like to remind our residents about Emergency No Parking areas within the Township. The designated emergency no parking areas ensure that vehicles which are not parked within a driveway, are parked on the even-numbered side of the street and will be prohibited from parking on the odd-numbered side of the street. The purpose behind this ordinance is to ensure that snow removal personnel/equipment are able to safely and efficiently navigate our roadways to ensure that our roadways are clear and safe for the public to travel.
In the event that a snow emergency is declared, it is my request that our residents park their vehicles in their driveways or move their vehicles to the even-numbered side of the street to expedite the Department of Public Works’ snow removal efforts.
