1. Battery on an Officer (1948) 700 Block of Visalia Street, Seaport District
Officers were in the listed area when the suspect threatened and charged at them. The suspect was taken into custody, after which he kicked an officer. It was later determined that the suspect had also battered a 17-year-old male victim. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Angelo Berciago, 34, for battery on an officer and child abuse.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (2010) West Lane and Alpine Avenue, Civic District
The male victim, 36, was driving in the listed area when he observed the suspect from a prior brandishing incident. The victim followed the suspect, who brandished a firearm at the victim again. Officers located the suspect and arrested him without incident. Officers recovered the firearm. ARRESTED: Eric Mullins, 46, for assault with a deadly weapon and weapon charges.
3. Carjacking (0145) Stanislaus Street and Hazelton Avenue, Seaport District
The male victim, 30, was at a business when the suspect asked him for a ride. The victim drove the suspect to the listed area, where four additional suspects forced him from the vehicle and fled in it. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Two Hispanic male adults and three Black male adults.
4. Weapon Arrest (0239) El Dorado Street and Washington Street, Civic District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop of a vehicle for traffic violations. A passenger admitted to being in possession of a firearm. A search of that suspect revealed he was also in possession of narcotics. ARRESTED: Derrick Thompson, 29, for weapon and drug charges.
