The County Office of Emergency Management has shared expected storm totals in excess of 12 inches, with a strong possibility of additional accumulation. Conditions are expected to worsen due to wind-driven snow and white-out conditions Sunday into Monday.
A State of Emergency has also been authorized.
Due to expected dangerous operating conditions, the County Landfill is almost certain to close on Monday. As a result, waste haulers will not be able to dump materials.
Rather than wait until later in the storm event, we have made the decision to follow our normal postponement procedure:
Monday trash collection will be moved to Thursday.
