Winter Weather Advisory from 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 22nd to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 23rd.

More snow is coming to Albany.

Here are important updates and reminders to help you stay safe and informed.
▪️ Snow Emergency Status: 518-476-SNOW (7669)
A snow emergency has not been declared at this time. That decision is made towards the end of the storm, once the Department of General Services assesses conditions. We will continue to keep you updated on status.
▪️ Public Safety
Avoid unnecessary travel during snowfall. If you must travel, slow down and increase following distance. Keep emergency supplies in your vehicle. Dress in warm layers, limit time outdoors, check on neighbors, and bring pets inside.
▪️ DGS will be shifting to 12-hour shifts starting Sunday at 7pm. Plowing and snow removal is occurring and will continue through this evening.
▪️ APD is fully staffed and prepared for all calls for service.
