Pelham Manor continues to track and monitor the strong Nor’Easter that has begun to impact our region. Conditions are expected to rapidly deteriorate in the evening and overnight hours. Residents are strongly encouraged to avoid travel and stay off of the roadways. Please note the following local updates:

• Monday garbage collection is suspended. On Tuesday, garbage collection will be conducted Village-wide. A path must be cleared for rear-yard garbage collection to occur.
• The Department of Public Works is fully staffed and will diligently be responding to this storm. The sanitation division has been scheduled to work phased coordinated shifts overnight with the street division for snow operations. As always, our Police and Fire Departments continue to be prepared to respond.
• If you utilize the parking lot at Village Hall, you must move your vehicle by 12:00 pm (noon) on Tuesday to allow for the lot to be plowed.
• The sidewalk plow will be deployed in the early morning hours tomorrow, Monday.
• Monitor local news media channels and platforms to stay informed on various weather-related impacts.
