Winter Storm Hernando Update 
The Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 6PM Monday and the forecast has not changed since the last message. A State of Emergency is in effect and a travel restriction has been issued effective 9PM this evening until 7AM Monday.
Enforcement of the Borough's Snow Emergency Ordinance has begun. If you have not moved your car, please do so now to avoid a ticket and impoundment. Parking is permitted in the Municipal Parking Lots during the storm.
Leonia Public Schools, Public Library, Borough Hall, Recreation Center, Senior Center and Municipal Center will be closed on Monday, FEB 22nd. There are no collections scheduled for Monday and the DPW is suspending the garbage collection scheduled for Tuesday, FEB 24th.
We continue to urge everyone to stay off of the roads and to stay home during this storm. Please allow time after the storm has passed for the DPW to clear the roads before going out. Additional updates will be sent out when warranted. Stay safe.
