Municipality of Princeton Winter Storm Update #3
❄️ WINTER STORM UPDATE – CONTINUED IMPACTS ❄️
Snow showers will continue through tomorrow, with hazardous conditions persisting, particularly overnight and during the morning hours.
? Updated Forecast
Overnight: Heaviest snowfall expected
Through ~12:00 PM tomorrow: Snow showers continue
After 12:00 PM: Snow becomes lighter and more patchy
Around 7:00 PM: Snow tapers off and clears
❄️ Total Snowfall: Approximately 14–18 inches
?️ Wind & Visibility Concerns
⚠️ Blowing snow and poor visibility will be a significant concern, especially early tomorrow morning, creating dangerous travel conditions.
?️ Municipal Offices Closed
Due to the ongoing winter storm and hazardous conditions, municipal offices will be closed tomorrow.
? Parking Restrictions – VERY IMPORTANT
To allow snow plows and emergency vehicles to operate safely and efficiently, vehicles may NOT be parked on roadways. Cars left on streets greatly hinder snow removal efforts and create unsafe conditions for crews and first responders.
?♂️ Sidewalk & Path Clearing Requirements
Property owners are reminded that snow and ice must be cleared within 24 hours after snowfall ends:
Residential properties: Clear at least 4 feet of sidewalk
Businesses / Central Business District: Clear from building to curb
Handicap ramps: Must be fully cleared
If ice cannot be removed, treat with sand or similar material
Do not push or pile snow into the roadway when clearing driveways
? Winter Storm Safety Reminders
Avoid unnecessary travel, especially overnight and early tomorrow
Expect drifting snow, reduced visibility, and icy conditions
Dress in layers and limit time outdoors due to cold wind chills
Use caution when shoveling; take frequent breaks
Check on neighbors, particularly seniors and those who may need assistance
Trash Collection Update:
Trash collection scheduled for February 23, 2026 will follow the holiday schedule. Trash scheduled for Monday will be collected on Tuesday; Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday; Wednesday will be collected on Thursday; Thursday will be collected on Friday; Friday will be collected on Saturday.
Please be patient as crews continue snow removal operations
