Due to the ongoing blizzard warning and hazardous winter weather conditions expected, Town Hall and Town offices will be closed on Monday, February 23, 2026.
Sanitation and Recycling Services
There will be no garbage pickup on Monday. The schedule will shift one day with a Saturday pickup added. Monday's garbage pickup will move to Tuesday, Tuesday's to Wednesday and so on:
- Monday, 2/23: No garbage pickup
- Tuesday, 2/24: Monday’s garbage pickup
- Wednesday, 2/25: Tuesday's garbage pickup
- Thursday, 2/26: Cardboard and paper pickup
- Friday, 2/27: Thursday's garbage pickup
- Saturday, 2/28: Friday's garbage pickup

Town Supervisor Carl Fulgenzi has declared a State of Emergency (PDF).
Travel Ban
Westchester County has declared a temporary road ban beginning at 9 PM Sunday, February 22, through 10 AM Monday, February 23.
Warming Center
The Tower Room* at Town Hall is open as a warming center.
*The Tower Room is located on the 3rd level of Town Hall. If using the elevator, select the 2nd floor. The Tower Room is also accessible by stairs.

In the event of power outages, please contact Con Edison directly at 1-800-752-6633. Avoid all downed wires and treat them as live.
