The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management, under the Division of the New Jersey State Police, has issued a mandatory travel restriction beginning:
9:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026
Ending 7:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 -
- Travel is restricted to emergencies only during the mandatory restriction period.
- All vehicles must be removed from the roadway to allow plows and emergency vehicles safe access.
- Temporary yard parking is permitted during the declared State of Emergency.
- If you must travel for an emergency, remain with your vehicle if stranded.
We strongly urge residents to avoid travel, prepare for potential power outages, and check on elderly or vulnerable neighbors.
