As winter storm conditions continue, residents are reminded to take the following steps if you experience a power outage:

Do not assume someone else has reported your outage.
Stay away from downed power lines and report them immediately to 911 and to JCP&L. Always treat downed wires as live.

Emergency Cell Phone Charging
If there is a large-scale outage, emergency charging will be available at the Asbury Park Fire Department, 800 Main Street.
The Fire Department is not a warming center and is not open for general sheltering.
