MONDAY MORNING STORM UPDATE
Heavy snow will continue into the afternoon hours, leading to additional snow accumulation throughout the area.
The Statewide Travel Restrictions have been extended until 12:00 PM today. All non-exempt vehicles are prohibited from operating on state, county, municipal, and interstate roadways during this time.
We strongly urge everyone to remain off the roadways for the remainder of the day due to ongoing hazards, including:
• Snow-covered and icy roads
• Downed trees and power lines
• Numerous traffic signals without power
SAFETY REMINDER:
If you see downed wires, DO NOT APPROACH THEM. Always assume wires are live and extremely dangerous.
If you are experiencing a power outage, report it directly to JCP&L.
Do not call 9-1-1 to report a power outage unless there is an emergency situation.
