The victim employee, 32, attempted to stop a shoplifting suspect when the suspect pushed the victim. The suspect fled the area with the stolen merchandise. SUSPECT: Black male adult
2. Resisting Arrest (2248) 400 Block of East Acacia Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the area on the report of an assault. When officers attempted to detain the suspect, he resisted, and force was used to arrest him. ARRESTED: Tyrone Vandroff, 56, for assault and resisting arrest charges.
3. Brandishing Arrest (0015) 2700 Block of Madrone Avenue, Lakeview District
The female victim, 25, was at an area residence when the known suspect brandished a firearm during an argument. Officers arrested the suspect and recovered a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Francisco Moreno, 27, for brandishing and weapon charges.
4. Weapon Arrest (0110) 4900 Block of Kentfield Road, Valley Oak District
Officers stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver refused to obey the officers’ commands, and force was used to remove him from the car. As officers removed the suspect from the vehicle, a loaded firearm fell from his jacket. Officers used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Aaron Taylor, 19, for resisting arrest and weapon charges.
5. Weapon Arrest (0318) 3700 Block of Pacific Avenue, Civic District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the listed area. The driver was found to be in possession of a concealed firearm. ARRESTED: Daniel Bautista, 30, for weapon charges.
