WINTER STORM HERNANDO: 2:00pm  Update

Road Conditions: Roadways remain snow covered creating very hazardous conditions. Please refrain from traveling. Cranbury Police Department continues to respond to motor vehicle assistance and crashes. NJDOT, Middlesex County DOT, and Cranbury Township DPW crews are still working to address the roadways within the Township.
 
If you must drive, motorists are advised to:
• SLOW DOWN
• Always STAY CLEAR of plowing and spreading trucks. If they are behind you, let them pass
• DO NOT pass between trucks that are in a plow formation
• Leave early and allow extra time
• Leave a safe following distance between vehicles
• Use caution on bridges and ramps
• If you are driving and road conditions deteriorate, PULL OFF somewhere safe and wait it out
• Be patient and use caution

Weather Forecast: Becoming windier with snow and flurries, 1-3”, storm total 18-24 inches; Tonight: Breezy with clearing: Slushy areas and standing water will freeze. Lo:22 degrees.

Many Tuesday events, meetings, or locations may be canceled or closed. Check directly with organizers or local listings.  

NOTE: The Cranbury Police vs. Cranbury Middle Schoolers basketball game scheduled for 02/24/2026 is postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
