Dangerous conditions persist in the Town of Yorktown. The Westchester County Travel Ban has been extended until 6pm. Town of Yorktown State of Emergency and Snow Emergency will remain in effect until further notice. Road conditions are treacherous as of 2:30 p.m.. There is no parking on Yorktown roads during the declared Local Snow Emergency. All Yorktown town buildings are closed today, including Yorktown Town Hall and John C. Hart Library. Hanover Road remains closed between Croton Heights Road and Sidney Court due to a downed telephone pole. Brook Lane hazardous condition has been cleared. There are no reported NYSEG power outages in Yorktown at this time. Con Edison reporting one customer without power.
