PUBLIC NOTICE: The Town of Tryon had a discharge of untreated wastewater from a broken sewer line located on Canady Ln on February 23rd, 2026 from approximatley 12pm - 1:00pm. An estimated 250 gallons of the untreated wastewater entered into a tributary of Little Creek. Line was rotted and full of rags. This incident has been reported to the state.
