Our DPW crews and contractors are still out clearing roads, and they’ve now been working for 36 straight hours. Crews will head home tonight to rest and will be back early tomorrow morning to resume snow removal widening roads and continue pushing back snow piles.
For Tuesday, 2/24:
- No school
- Town Hall will open on a delay at 10:30 AM
- West Milford Township Library will open on a delay at 11:00 AM
- Garbage and recycling pickup for Tuesday, 2/24 is canceled Garbage and recycling that has been canceled for Tuesday 2/24 will be picked up on Saturday, 2/28
A reminder to all residents: please do not push snow back into the roadway. We’ve had many issues today where this created dangerous conditions and required crews to return to clean up snow that should not have been in the road.
And let’s also give a big shout‑out to all of our emergency services personnel WM PD — our Fire Department and EMS — who have been on standby throughout the storm to ensure fast response times for any emergencies. Their dedication makes a real difference in our community.
