Post-Storm Update: DPW Cleanup, Power Outages & Garbage Collection

Dear Resident,

Although the winter storm has ended, Aberdeen Township Department of Public Works crews are still actively working throughout town.

DPW crews are back out re-cleaning roadways, pushing snow curb to curb, and working to bring streets down to blacktop where conditions allow. You may see crews returning to streets that were already plowed. As this work continues, some snow that has been shoveled near roadways may be impacted again.

While the storm may be over, the cleanup work is not. We appreciate your patience as crews complete this final phase of storm response.

Power Outages
Some areas of town are still experiencing power outages. Residents can report outages and check estimated restoration times directly with Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L):

Garbage Collection Update
There will be NO garbage collection on Tuesday, February 24.
Please do not place trash at the curb Monday night.

To make up for the delay, all garbage will be collected on your regular second pickup day (Thursday or Friday).
