Newark Public Schools must prepare for reconvening operations and respectfully request that all residents who parked their vehicles in a public school lot kindly move their vehicle by 11 p.m. today.
The Newark school system very graciously extended the parking availability from its previous vehicle removal time of 3 p.m. by several hours to 11 p.m. We greatly appreciate their willingness to allow residents to use their facilities during this snow emergency.
Motorist are urged to look for the sign pictured below to identify the streets designated for no parking. Police will tow vehicles during the snow Emergency under a city ordinance 23:6–2.
Double parking is also prohibited during snow emergencies to enable snow plows to clear the roadways.
