The storm has passed and recovery operations are ongoing throughout the Borough.
Power Outages:
Some areas remain without power. Residents should contact Atlantic City Electric and/or the Beach Haven Police Department to be placed in the restoration queue. ACE crews have been working nonstop and have restored power to most customers within 24 hours.
Wellness Checks & Warming Assistance:
Residents may contact Police Dispatch to be placed on a wellness check list. Officers can check on you periodically. If you need access to a warming station, please contact the Police Department so assistance can be arranged.
Municipal Closures:
Borough Hall, Beach Haven School, and the Beach Haven Library remain closed.
Garbage & Road Conditions:
Garbage pickup is delayed to allow Public Works to continue snow removal and debris cleanup. Please avoid placing trash in roadways. Snow, debris, and downed wires are still being addressed—use caution when outdoors and avoid all downed lines.
Coastal Impacts:
Significant beach erosion has occurred. The Borough is documenting conditions and coordinating with the State on recovery efforts.
Cleanup is ongoing, and conditions will continue to improve. Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors and contact Police Dispatch if assistance is needed.
