On February 21, 2026, the South Brunswick Police Department proudly hosted the 5th Annual "Pizza with Police" at Giuseppe’s Pizzeria in Dayton. The event once again brought officers and residents together in a positive, welcoming environment to strengthen community relationships.
This annual tradition, started in 2020 by Sergeant Sal Fama, continues to grow each year through his dedication and commitment to community engagement.
Giuseppe’s owner, Antonio, shared:
"We love supporting and working with the South Brunswick Police Department. Chief Hayducka and the entire department work hard to keep us safe and it’s a small way we can show our support. Sgt. Fama's dedication to this event is unmatched."
Event organizer Sergeant Sal Fama added:
"In 2020, we launched Pizza with Police to bring our community and law enforcement together in a positive, approachable way. Six years later, it continues to build trust and connection — everyone working together to foster meaningful relationships and create a stronger community. I am truly grateful for the unwavering support from Chief Hayducka, council members, residents, and our local businesses, especially Giuseppe’s Pizzeria for their continued support.”
