INCIDENT: Sheriff's Patrol Vehicle Involved in Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Nisqualli Road / Seventh Avenue, Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Monday, February 23, 2026, at approximately 3:10 p.m., a deputy from the Victorville Station was involved in a traffic collision at the intersection of Nisqualli Road and Seventh Avenue while responding to a call for service.
The collision involved a Sheriff’s patrol vehicle and three other vehicles. The deputy and a passenger from one of the vehicles were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries and were later released.
The Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team assumed the investigation into the cause of the collision. The intersection was temporarily closed for a few hours while investigators processed the scene, and has since reopened.
