1. Person Stabbed (Delayed) 800 Block of East Market Street, Civic District
On 02/23/2026, the female victim, 49, was asleep in her vehicle in the listed area when the suspect opened the door and stabbed her. The victim fled. The next day, the victim self-transported to an area hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: White female adult.

2. Resisting Arrest (1647) Filbert Street and Lafayette Street, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, who resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Justin Mancias, 32, for resisting arrest and narcotics charges.

3. Shooting into a Dwelling (1843) 600 Block of Cabana Way, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 26, was in her residence when it was struck by gunfire. There were no injuries. The suspects fled in two vehicles. SUSPECTS: 3-4 unknown race males.

4. Resisting Arrest (2209) 700 Block of North San Joaquin Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a suspect armed with a firearm. Officers contacted the suspect, who resisted officers’ attempts to detain him, and force was used to take him into custody. The suspect was uninjured. ARRESTED: Anthony Myles, 55, for resisting arrest.

5. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (2333) 7300 Block of North El Dorado Street, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 44, was inside his residence when he got into a confrontation with the known suspect. The suspect repeatedly punched and struck the victim with a blunt object. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. ARRESTED: Angel Alcantara Jr, 18, for assault with a deadly weapon.

6. Battery on an Officer (0014) 7300 Block of North El Dorado Street, Valley Oak District
Related to entry #5. While officers were investigating that incident, the suspect attempted to enter the crime scene and struck an officer. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Alexandria Alcantara, 20, for resisting arrest, battery on an officer, and public intoxication.

7. Weapon Arrest (0112) Spring Street and Anne Street, Park District
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. The driver advised that she was in possession of a firearm. She was arrested without incident, and a handgun was recovered. ARRESTED: Alyssa Mercado-Guevara, 25, for weapon charges.
