The River Edge Police Department will begin ticketing and towing vehicles that have been left on the street for more than 48 hours starting Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 6:00 AM.
Due to public safety concerns, any vehicles that remain buried or unmoved from previous snowstorms are subject to removal under N.J.S.A. 39:4-56.5 on all streets in River Edge.
Example: Vehicles that remained buried under snow from Monday, February 16, 2026, will be ticketed and towed starting, tomorrow, Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 6am.
Residents are asked to please remove these vehicles as soon as possible. We appreciate your cooperation.
