Traffic Stop by Victor Valley Transit Detail Leads to Discovery of Stolen Vehicles and Four Arrests in Hesperia

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.  

INCIDENT: Stolen Vehicle Recovery

LOCATION: Amargosa Road / Dos Palmas, Victorville 

SUSPECT: Jonathan Enriquez, 38-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
                   Michael Ortega, 41-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
                   Rachel Navarrete, 43-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
                   Courtney Kollath, 39-years-old, Resident of Hesperia

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at about 11:30 a.m., deputies from the Sheriff’s Transit Operations Division, Victor Valley Transit Detail, conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Silverado. During the traffic stop, deputies found the vehicle to be stolen from the Town of Apple Valley. Deputies made contact with Jonathan Enriquez who was found to be in possession of the stolen vehicle. 

As a result of the investigation, deputies served a search warrant at a property located in the 14000 block of Summit Valley Road in Hesperia that was associated to Enriquez. During the service of the search warrant, four additional stolen vehicles were located. Those vehicles included a toy-hauler type recreational vehicle, a U-Haul moving truck, and a car trailer. Several other vehicles and pieces of industrial equipment were also located on the property and are suspected to be stolen. 

Enriquez was arrested for PC496D(A) - Possession of Stolen Propery and transported to the High Desert Detention Center. 

Three additional suspects, Michael Ortega, Rachel Navarrete, and Courtney Kollath, were found inside of the stolen toy hauler. Ortega was detained and later arrested for PC496(A) – Possession of Stolen Property. Navarrete was detained and later arrested for PC496D(A) - Possession of Stolen Property and an outstanding warrant. Kollath was detained and later arrested for an outstanding warrant. All three were booked at the High Desert Detention Center.
