The City of Compton will be performing street improvements along Artesia Boulevard between Santa Fe Avenue and Susana Street from March 3-20.
During this period, traffic along Artesia Boulevard will be reduced, and delays are expected near the Artesia entrance to Compton College. The City of Compton has confirmed that one lane of traffic will remain open at all times, with only brief, temporary full closures occurring as needed to move construction equipment. No all-day closures are planned.
While the Artesia Boulevard entrance to Compton College is expected to remain accessible, students, employees, and visitors are strongly encouraged to use the Greenleaf Boulevard entrances when possible to avoid delays. Employees and students who normally travel via Artesia Boulevard should plan for additional travel time during this construction period.
