INCIDENT: PC 29800(A)(1) - Felon in Possession of a Firearm
PC 1203.2(A)(2) - Violation of Probation
LOCATION: 2000 Block of Puru Street., Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Lawrence Santana, 62-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at approximately 10:14 a.m., San Bernardino County Probation officers contacted Lawrence Santana during a probation check near the 2000 Block of Puru Street in Needles. During the investigation, officers discovered a firearm at the residence, which is a viloation of Santana's probation. Deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the scene and took Santana into custody.
Lawrence Santana was consequently arrested on the above charges and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Santana remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with no bail, awaiting a court hearing.
