Please be advised that a power outage is currently affecting the northern section of Monroe Township. The traffic signal at the intersection of Spotswood Englishtown Road and Matchaponix Avenue is not operational at this time.
Motorists are urged to exercise caution when traveling through the area.
JCP&L is reporting that approximately 839 residences within Monroe Township are impacted by this outage. JCP&L crews are on scene and actively performing the necessary repairs. The power will be restored as soon as possible.
Residents should report any power outages directly to JCP&L at 1-888-LIGHTSS.
