Our RTIC Coordinator plays a vital role in keeping San Mateo safe by overseeing operations, technology, and personnel in the Real Time Information Center. This non-sworn position manages resources, produces intelligence reports, assists field operations in real time, coordinates training, monitors performance, and operates the RTIC during peak times—connecting technology, data, and people to enhance public safety every day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years in a law enforcement agency, including 2+ years in crime intelligence, investigations, or emergency dispatch
- Experience with radio equipment, CAD, video, and intelligence systems
- Bachelor’s degree (highly desirable)
- Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (for drone operations)
- Must successfully pass a thorough law enforcement background investigation
